Greetings, Adventure Friend!
A LONNNNGGG Time in Getting
Here!!
This promise for a free E-Book on
Alamosa County was from the Waybill To Adventure
Gazette, back in 2003 ... but it's been a hectic year and a half,
getting everything going with WaybillToAdventure.com! I am
finally getting started on this set of Atlases. Download our free book
(see below) and you will soon see why I am so excited over this
project.
The writing and construction of the
original books, 1984-1986, was quite the project in itself and it was a
lot of work and a lot of fun. Now that things have gone digital, you'd
think it would make life easier! But, with all the new avenues for
research, it literally makes things into "Mission Impossible"! However, we
expect these two volumes to be very much expanded, and indeed, a
definitive source on Colorado ghost towns.
For those of you who plan to travel to
treasure sites in Colorado, this is a must-have book, whether in print
form, or if you pre-order the E-Books. For everyone else, these are
classics in the field, and also a must-have!
Just FYI -- we have a number of Volume I
books, but Volume II has been out of print for awhile. We keep receiving
requests, and DARNED if I am going to give up my last two
copies! Snag one of the Volume I's while you can! For now, our plans
are to provide this best-selling set of books ONLY through E-Book and on
CD-ROM. The print books are now collector items! (Which makes me feel old
as dirt, but ... depending on where the dirt is, I guess that's good as
gold!!)
May every day be an Adventure!
