Adventure Friend -- I am sitting here in front of this weary computer
on this Eve of a new year... a bit glazed, I guess! What I gave to myself for Christmas this year was... The completion of an E-Book, which signified the completion of last year's resolution -- which was to begin taking the Carson Enterprises books into the digital world. Even for this techie-Gurl, this was a huge undertaking.
I admit to being tired... and more than a small bit of astounded at how much work this was, even for ONE E-Book. The technical aspects that are so needed, go far beyond just the creation of a book. From online services to merchant accounts, to connection problems, to hosting agonies, to all of the above being here one day and GONE the next. Folks, this is NOT like your average small business on the brick and mortar corner! It is... more fun than that! It is... much more beset
by
new oft-times GLITCHY technologies than that! It is... hair-pulling at times! It has... made a grown woman
CRY! (LOL, but true!)
And guess what? I wouldn't trade this for anything, at
this point. The other night, I sat back and went "Whew! It is done! It is finally ready!" ==========================================
